New children institute for motor skills development
Fighting prejudice against people with disabilities, helping change everyday society's perception, this is the fight of APF France Handicap Association.
A fight shared by Behrend Centdegrés Architectures, who creates adapted spaces, accessible to all in the heart of the urban centre.
The Institute construction project, on a piece of land at the edge of the urban fabric and 500m from Belfort's center, combines a contemporary architectural approach that is both urban and open on the surrounding nature.
• A building on a human scale in line with its environment,
• A building open onto the city, actor by its lines, its volume, its colors,
• A building serving its users, patients and caregivers, convenient, comfortable and safe,
• A building that contributes to treatment process, helping the individual to regain an independent lifestyle.
